Comprised entirely of my compositions, the album will feature an outstanding ensemble of New York-based musicians including Alexander Norris (trumpet), Paul Bollenback (guitar), Ed Howard (bass), and EJ Strickland (drums). Recording, mixing, and mastering will be completed by renowned engineer Paul Wickliffe at Charlestown Road Studio in Hampton, New Jersey on June 4, 2014. Compact discs will be manufactured by Disc Makers with album artwork by Eugene Huang (www.thedukeofflies.com).
The project will culminate in a Baltimore CD-release event in late fall 2014. If additional funds remain, a multiple city release weekend will be scheduled. Additional locations would include New York City, Philadelphia, Winchester, VA, and Washington, DC.
